Ricotta, MD, MS, FACS, DFSVS, is the National Medical Director for Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy for Tenet Healthcare and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Delray Medical Center. He is a Professor of Surgery at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University and is the founder and program director of the FAU Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program. Dr. Ricotta’s medical office and office-based laboratory are located at the Prime Vascular Institute in Delray Beach that includes full-service, office-based outpatient surgery center and ultrasound program, as well as a comprehensive vein center. He is on-staff at Delray Medical Center. Dr. Ricotta is experienced, highly skilled and trained in general surgery from Johns Hopkins, fellowship-trained in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and in Endovascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Ricotta specializes in minimally invasive endovascular therapy, endovascular robotic surgery, aortic and peripheral aneurysms, peripheral artery disease and venous disease. Dr. Ricotta offers treatment options for the entire spectrum of vascular disorders, including non-operative medical management, open surgery, and minimally invasive endovascular techniques including TCAR (trans carotid artery revascularization), Endovascular Robotics, and Intravascular Lithotripsy. Dr. Ricotta also provides specialized procedures that are designed to spare tissue, repair damage, and help maintain and restore function in limbs that would otherwise have to be amputated. Dr. Ricotta is board-certified in vascular surgery and general surgery and has pioneered several different treatments for patients with vascular disease. In addition, Dr. Ricotta has authored over 200 publications, been an investigator in over 60 clinical research trials, and delivered over 300 lectures both on the national and international stage.

My experience was very good. The ultrasound was in a very comfortable atmosphere and the technician was pleasant made me feel relaxed. I feel Kaitlen and her crew were all very caring and as understanding as they could be before, during and after the procedure. I think it is unusual that I still have never seen Dr Ricotta, even though I have been to his office at least 3 or 4 times. I am also VERY concerned about a knot like protrusion on my inner thjgh that is the size of a grape under my skin at one of the entry points??? What is that and will it go away as it is painful? Also my varicose veins are still ugly and protruding, the very reason I came to see Dr Ricotta.

Dr Ricotta changed my son's life . He was born with a rare malformation of the venous veins called Klippel Trenaunay syndrome. As a parent I've taken my son to the most renowned doctors and hospitals searching for over 20 years from Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan to Boston and Philadelphia hearing the worst news or no news of how to treat this painful syndrome . My son's symptoms are exact . Born with a torn lymphatic gland and extreme veins in right foot, leg and arm. That to stand caused him pain. I won't go into the failed stories of top doctors in the field ill simply say when doctor Ricotta first looked at my son he gave us hope and confidence to put my sons life in his gifted hands . And he has never disappointed use in the years of surgery in operating rooms to in office treatments. Saying years you might think why so long ? But it's a process of major surgery that takes time to recover from but unlike other surgical procedures he actually walked out of hospital feeling less pain after each of the 7 surgeries same with in office treatments. Point being he was the first Doctor that knew exactly what to do . Unlike other doctors that caused more pain because they just didn't know how to treat my son . To close Ill say both my son and myself could never express how grateful we are to Dr. Ricotta . I hope another parent might Google this review and find Dr. Ricotta so he might help their child or as in my case a grown son because it took that long to find this humble , kind and gifted Doctor.

DR. RICOTTA's firm is quite organized. I assume CONFIDENTIALITY is tantamount as it should and needs to be. I do not recall seeing an ID's. Then again, I was quite tired, thirsty and hungry at my first visit on APR 19. YES, his staff is sensitive. I had no concern for their grooming and cleanliness. Uniforms coordinated and clean as well overall all staff well-groomed.

April 19 2023 First visits to a medical firm can be lengthy. Not so terrible. The time of day was a blessing for me (late PM) and appreciated. APR 26 I was in and out I think in less than 1-hour - not sure. It didn't matter I was so impressed with Ultrasound Tek JACKIE and the ladies at inner office staff it was a very pleasant experience. Same with the Front Desk staff. Humanity, smiling, even a chuckle at a silly joke - and general all around pleasant staff speaks for itself = Happy w/their calling and firm!

4 visita, 2 Dopplers, 1assistant, 1with care providerHe was curt, explained situation in precise words, no lymph edema as assistant had explained. Affirmed right leg venous insufficiency. Told me to come back for another Doppler to have a clearer diagnosis. He did not take a look at swelling in my legs. I got a partial diagnosis. Hope I get a better understanding of the situation. Confidence has to be established. Recommendations depend on results. Swelling began in January and we are in July. LNP

very little conversation..I gave the nurse a copy of my meds, and after she left the room, realized it was my husbands list, very different. When the PA came back into the room, I game her the correct list, much different. If I needed meds, I don't know if anyone really looked at what I gave them. ( my husband is on many psychotropics) As it worked out, I didn't need any meds.

I never met the doctor..I think I saw the PA, nurse was ok, the best was the technician who did the ultrasound. She was very serious, but was kind. Fortunately, I don't need any services from the Doctor, and I went back to my Physician for final safe guards for me and my Edema.
