He discussed the treatment options, the pros and cons of each, and was open when I asked about getting a second opinion (although the more time passes), the original diagnosis of Parkinsonism by the movement disorder specialist) seems like it probably correct.

Dr. Muniz is the most wonderful physician. He has wonderful bedside manner. Willing to explain everything and give you time to ask any and all questions. If more doctors were like him healthcare would be much better for everyone. Cannot say enough wonderful things about him and all the office staff. I work in healthcare as a registered nurse so this says a lot about my experience.

Dr. Muniz saw me four years ago for chronic pain that was increasing and was making me suicidal. He evaluated me and sent me to a pain doctor who had a treatment that has successfully brought the pain down to only occasional discomfort, which I can live with. I was hoping for a prescription for my present problem (memory loss). He wants me to have four tests done before he prescribes anything. Although I was surprised, I appreciate his thoroughness and will definitely follow through with them.

Dr Muniz Garcia is outstanding. On this visit he went above and beyond to make sure that my mom got her proper medication refills. He has always been kind in addition to providing great medical treatment. He got my mother a vagus nerve stimulator when her previous neurologists did not. He has managed her seizure medications better than any other neurologist my mom has had. She has had fewer seizures, on less meds, with less side effects, since starting with Doctor Muniz. Dr Muniz was excellent and after hearing my history of migraines he let me know I should see another neurologist who specifically treat migraines. Dr Muniz was attentive and heard everything I had to say. . I found the fact that he felt I would be better served by another Dr . I now have a telehealth call very soon

Dr. Juan Carlos Muniz is one of the best doctors I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. He isn't in a rush to get to his next patient. He really listens and thinks about my issues. He goes the extra mile: for ex., my insurance said they wouldn't cover two basic meds I use. He said he would pursue it with them and,if unsuccessful, would see if they cover another med which would be similar. I didn't ask him to do this! It's just part of his character, his attitude, his bedside manner. He really cares. It's not fake--I've seen fake. This doctor cares.

At my last appointment, the office was so rushed that by 3:00, when he saw me, he still hadn't had time for lunch, yet he did not seem rushed or impatient at all with me.
