Dr. Minnick is a Board-certified Surgeon with Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, Cum Laude at Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, and attended Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey PA, where she received her Doctor of Medicine. Following medical school, she was Chief Resident in General Surgery of the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey PA, while simultaneously exemplifying leadership as an instructor at Gross Anatomy Laboratory. Dr. Minnick completed a two-year Surgical Research Fellowship in the division of Pediatric Surgery with a focus in Wound Healing. Dr. Minnick’s strong presence in the medical community is consistently demonstrated by her active community involvement. She previously was the Co-Medical Director of the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care at Wellington Regional Medical Center, where she also did the first Intraoperative Radiation Therapy (IORT). She previously was the Director of the Breast Tumor Board at Good Samaritan Medical Center.

I never once felt pressured to pick lumpectomy over mastectomy or nipple sparing over removal. She presented the options and let me decide.
