Eduardo Parra-Davila, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a bariatric surgeon, colorectal and general surgeon and is dedicated to providing the community with comprehensive care. Dr. Parra-Davila leads the Palm Beach Digital Surgery Institute in West Palm Beach, FL. Dr. Parra-Davila specializes in bariatric weight loss surgery, hernia and abdominal wall reconstruction, colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, rectal prolapse, endometriosis, incontinence, hemorrhoids, gallbladder disease, gastroesophageal reflux, robotics, and minimally invasive surgery. He is on-staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL. Dr. Parra-Davila brings more than 30 years of experience to the care of patients and is known for a robotic surgical approach that often avoids the need for open surgery, instead operating through very small incisions. This approach minimizes infection, pain and recovery times. For his education and training, Dr. Parra-Davila completed two fellowships: one in Advanced Laparoscopy Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Texas Endosurgery Institute in San Antonio, TX and another fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas in Houston, TX. Dr. Parra-Davila completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Dr. Parra-Davila graduated medical school from the University of Los Andes in Merida, Venezuela. Committed to advancing the field of medicine, Dr. Parra-Davila has given numerous national and international conferences and trained thousands of surgeons in minimally invasive and robotic surgery worldwide. He has also participated in several research studies that include robotic surgery in colorectal and abdominal wall reconstruction. Dr. Parra-Davila is a founding member of the Society of Robotic Surgeons and the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association. He was a former board member of the American Hernia Society. Dr. Parra-Davila is trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He has been practicing medicine since 1988.

I have really no complaints, Dr.. Sent me for a ct scan, performed in hospital same day, extremely fast and read same day. Went back to doctor and he confirmed they found nothing in CT scan that would be giving me the hot wet sensations in groin area, left and right. Also nothing seen that would produce the pain I feel at times with the wet/hot feeling. Advise me get in touch with him if my condition gets worse while in upstate N.Y. He has contacts in N.Y. If needed. Will see Doctor again when I get back from N.Y.i n the fall.

Dr Parra Took the time to explain the current condition of my large abdominal hernia and what will need to be done in order to repair them. He showed me the CAT scan and in very plain language explained to me some of the risks associated with how big the hernia have become and what he will do to help me get them repaired. Blessed to have found Dr Parra-Davila. Everything about my experience in this office has this far been excellent. I've made recommendations to Dr. Edward Parra Davilla to friends and family. The first thing that comes across about him is his kindness and genuine care for whoever he's about to see. He is by far the most gentle physician I have seen for my current physical issues. His bedside manner is extraordinary which is such a comfort for such difficult issues. I wish he could teach others how to properly treat a patient.

I had an excellent experience. The staff was wonderful on the phone and in person. The 30 minutes I did wait was not a big deal. Did some paperwork. I was a little disturbed by a patient who needed to remove his mask to fill out the same paperwork but that was nothing to do with the great staff. I felt safe the entire time. Dr. Parra took the time to answer my questions and explain things to me. We interested when I brought up another issue I was having. I was heard and that is a great feeling. I am having surgery on the 28th and I just would life to have the dr spend enough time with me to understand his feeling and why he feels this is best for me and what the procedure entails, what I can expect from the precedure and after , and hopefully after two years it won't return, I'm just alittle in the dark , and the doctor has been great
