Apr 22, 2025

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center completes its newly renovated emergency department, designed to improve patient care by enhancing efficiency and streamlining assessments.

The updated emergency department features 24 beds and a reconfigured admission and triage area to allow for faster patient evaluations. These improvements are part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional emergency care with short ER wait times.

“We are dedicated to delivering prompt, high-quality care to our community, and this renovation reflects that commitment,” said Erik Cazares, CEO of Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. “By reconfiguring our space to improve efficiency, we’re ensuring that patients receive faster assessments and timely care decisions — all with the same level of expertise and compassion they’ve come to expect from us.”

The newly designed triage area allows medical staff to assess patients more efficiently, ensuring those in need of urgent care are seen quickly. The enhanced layout also optimizes patient flow, supporting better care coordination and improving overall experiences for patients and their families.
