Florida Coast Medical Center Surpasses 1,000 Patients Cared For Since Opening
Nov 4, 2025Florida Coast Medical Center has reached a major milestone in patient care: more than 1,000 patients have received treatment at the hospital since its doors opened on September 9, 2025.
As the Treasure Coast’s first new hospital in more than a decade, Florida Coast Medical Center was built to bring advanced, dependable healthcare closer to home. In just over a month, patients have turned to the hospital for a wide range of services, including emergency care, surgery, and specialty care.

Florida Coast Medical Center features 54 inpatient beds, a 26-bed emergency department, and 180,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities designed to support patient comfort and safety. The campus also includes a medical office building with physician practices to help keep the continuum of care local.

Florida Coast Medical Center is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that opened in September 2025 in Port St. Lucie. Conveniently located near Florida’s Turnpike off Becker Road at 310 SE Veranda Falls Way, the offers comprehensive medical services in a modern, patient-centered environment.
This $200 million, 180,000-square-foot facility will feature 54 private patient rooms, 24-hour emergency care, and specialized services including neurosciences, orthopedics, spine care, robotics, general surgery, urology, and advanced cardiac care. In addition to inpatient care, patients will have access to outpatient surgical services, imaging, and physician offices to support their ongoing healthcare needs.
The hospital is the 6th standalone hospital in the Palm Beach Health Network.
