Delray Medical Center CEO Goes Red for Women
Feb 13, 2026In honor of #NationalWearRedDay, #DelrayMedicalCenter CEO Heather Haverciak, interviewed live at WPBF 25 News this morning to help raise awareness for heart health!
This is all in advance of the American Heart Association’s Palm Beach County Go Red for Women initiative. Heather is the chair for this effort.
“Life rarely slows down, and everyone is busy – but women’s health needs attention now if we’re going to prevent conditions like heart disease and stroke,” Havericak said. “Go Red for Women is about encouraging the women in your life to prioritize their wellness, because women face unique life stages that can increase their risk for heart disease.”
Despite the threat of heart disease, fewer than half of women are aware of its risk. Go Red for Women is committed to closing gaps in access to care and championing a community of support.
The local campaign will culminate on April 17 at the Palm Beach County Go Red for Women Luncheon at PGA National Resort. The event will feature a new, expo-style experience for attendees to learn about CPR, stroke symptoms and ways to prevent heart disease.
