“The Volunteer Auxiliary Board Scholarship program is a reflection of our deep commitment to supporting students who embody compassion, hard work, and a desire to give back,” said Heather Havericak, CEO of Delray Medical Center. “For 20 years, this initiative has helped open doors for young people in our community, many of whom are inspired to pursue careers in healthcare and service. We are incredibly proud of this year’s recipients and excited to see the impact they will make in the future.”
Recipients were selected based on a competitive application process, which included meeting eligibility requirements such as completing a minimum of 50 volunteer hours. Applicants also submitted a cover letter, personal statement, resume, and letter of recommendation.
