'Advancement in technology': #delraymedicalcenter introduces robotic-assisted spine surgery

Delray Medical Center is the first hospital in Florida to perform spine surgery using a robotic-assisted platform, enhancing precision and reducing X-ray exposure during procedures.

Dr. Lloyd Zucker, chief of neurosurgery at Delray Medical Center, described the new system as a significant advancement in surgical technology.

"The AXiS system is a system that we use to guide our way through the brain and the spine. It's an advancement in technology we've used for years, and this is basically the next generation," Zucker said.
