What is Vascular Disease?
Vascular problems involve damaged or diseased blood vessels that may have difficulty moving blood through the body’s network of arteries, veins and capillaries. There is an entire spectrum of circulatory disorders, including atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Vascular diseases can include aneurysms, blood clots, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease, varicose veins and other conditions affecting blood vessels.
