At St. Mary’s Medical Center and the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital, our volunteers make a difference in the lives of our patients, visitors and staff every day.

Volunteering at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital is a meaningful and rewarding experience for our volunteers. We match volunteer’s talents and interests with current needs when determining placements within the medical center. As a result, you are able to serve not only where you are needed, but also where you will be most rewarded.

The Cuddler Program: These volunteers provide comfort and support to ill children by helping with holding, giving hugs, and more.

Pet Therapy: These volunteers and their special, certified therapy dogs help our patients heal by visiting and entertaining them and their families.

Stroke of Hope: This program brings current stroke patients together with stroke-surviving volunteers to share experiences and educational resources.
