Where volunteers serve

Palm Beach Health Network volunteers are placed in more than 30 different hospital areas. Placement is based on your interests, the hospital’s needs, and the times and days there are volunteer openings.

Volunteer training

Palm Beach Health Network all volunteers. You will be required to attend a general orientation that provides an introduction to the hospital and an explanation of hospital policies. On-the-job training will be provided in each specific hospital assignment. You will also be expected to attend in-service training as required by the hospital, and to comply with a tuberculosis skin test to meet hospital health requirements.
