Our comprehensive network serves over 300,000 patients per year with access to over 3000 physicians, including nationally and regionally renowned specialists.
Delray Medical Center is one of only two Trauma Centers in Palm Beach County. Each year, we see more than 2000 trauma patients. Being a trauma center means that Delray Medical Center has the highest level of physician expertise and training, enabling our team to deal with the most complex cases.
Overall, for 2023-2024, Delray Medical Center has over 30 awards for clinical quality and excellence in many specialties including Cardiac Care, Orthopedics, Neurosciences, Bariatric Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Pulmonology.
Delray Medical Center remains dedicated to serving the growing needs of the county’s residents while maintaining the level of high-quality healthcare it’s known for.
This past year we underwent a multi-million dollar capital expansion, to enhance the experience we provide our patients. This commitment supported expansions and upgrades including new technology, enhancements to patient care, and acquisition of the latest cutting-edge equipment.
Delray Medical Center's new Surgical Tower and OR expansion features dedicated Surgical Ortho, Surgical Stepdown and Surgical Inpatient units; 24 new private patient rooms, a new operating room and upgraded technology; enhanced robotics capabilities including the DaVinci XI and the Aquabeam System; and a renovated family reception area.
Surgical care advancements include the latest navigation equipment for orthopedic and spine care and four new operating rooms for gastroenterology, urology, general surgery, and orthopedics. The hospital is also adding new patient rooms, and by the end of 2024, will feature all modern, private rooms for patient and family comfort.
This significant investment underscores our commitment to be the healthcare provider of choice to Palm Beach County and is further evidence of our dedication to preparing for the future.
